We are riding to raise money for breast cancer research.
In addition, we are showing our support for those people touched by breast cancer by coming together and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, with a definite purpose.
YES! Indoor cycling is a great fitness activity that is easier than riding a bicycle (because you can't crash!). It is an excellent exercise mode for all ages and athletic abilities because you control the workout. There are many ways to start Indoor cycling and many fitness clubs that will let you try it. Contact if you have other questions.
Pledge checks are written out directly to the American Cancer Society.
The SPINODYSSEY focuses our efforts on breast cancer research, and 100% of the pledge checks in our first five years have funded . For information on those researchers,

You raise money simply by explaining to your friends, family and co-workers
that you are helping to fight breast cancer by training and riding in the SpinOdyssey.
If they would like to help, they can write a check to the American Cancer Society.
It does not have to be a per hour pledge, as all of your pledge checks should be brought in
the day of the event by 2:00 PM. In addition, many companies will match the donations
of any of their employees. For example, if your friend writes a check for $50,
your friend's employer may match that amount.
All they have to do is fill out a simple corporate match form they can get from their
human resource department, and you bring in the corporate match form with their check
the day of the event.
We have a big goal this year of $450,000! We suggest that every rider raises at least $300 per hour they are on the bike. If you want to ride 3 hours, you should try to raise at least $900. That could be 36 checks for $25 apiece, which should be attainable during the several weeks or months you are training. Pledge checks are written directly to the American Cancer Society. Regardless of what amount you raise, every dollar raised goes toward finding a cure.
Absolutely! You can raise money for the event just as you would by being a rider,
or you can volunteer at the event or helping with corporate donations.

Companies can be a great resource |
• They can help underwrite the event by signing on as a corporate sponsor.
|
• They have corporate matching programs for individual employees who are donors.
|
• They often have grant programs that will send a larger donation just for filling out a form.
|
• They can provide goods or services for the training days or the day of the event.
|
• They can create a company team to ride and train together.

Email us and let us know what your company might do,
or with the name of someone we should contact at your company. |
Teams are a great way to participate in the SPINODYSSEY and it is as easy as getting a couple of people to join you! Teams can be made of employees, friends, families, gyms and clubs.
They can train together, raise money together and can qualify for special prizes during the event. SPINODYSSEY can also help arrange special training programs to meet the needs of teams or people that are new to Indoor cycling.
